Cold Shocking?
    #422411 - 10/12/01 05:26 AM (21 years, 9 hours ago)

Birthed 4 cakes about 5 days ago, no cold shock, did shoot 10cc of spring water into the inner reservoir, so far so good, no pins but i know its early. I have another bunch of jars that were growing slower that are almost at 100% now. I'm wondering if I should do anything different birthing these. Could someone explain how to cold shock and if it's "worth" it? Is it as simple as taking the jars and sticking them in the fridge overnight then birthing? Should I cold shock, then let sit in light until they start pinning outside of the incubation chamber? So many options! Just looking for some suggestions.

you do not need to cold shock...
if you keep the humidity in the limits, and fan often, they will pin.

He somehow manages to breathe in his sepia, wounded-tea, liquid ambiance suspension.

10-4 on that. How about the idea i keep reading to let them sit out in the light for a week after 100% colonization?
