Rain in the Northeast
    #4221547 - 05/26/05 08:05 AM (11 years, 6 months ago)

I woke up today to the sound of rain coming down in sheets. Today marks the 10th day of constant rain here in Maine, making it the most wet spring in at least my recent memory. I know wet weather is best for the little guys, but when you find yourself dip sticking the unexpected pool growing in the backyard and with no end in sight... things aren't good. How can this effect the upcoming season and should it be welcomed or rejected as the beast that swamped spring?

Same here, I'm starting to get a bit uneasy. I've gone out quite a few times and have come back empty handed on every one.

Usually when things flood(ie: Florida, hurricanes) mushrooms tend to stop fruiting. Rain is great for mushrooms but too much of anything can be bad.  :smirk:
