In which parts of the (opium)poppy plant does the most "active"alkaloids exist? for example:leaves-%,stem%,pod%,flower or petals%,ect. I know there isnt really an exact measurment but just approximent guesses. Thanks very much for your time and replies, Peace, PF~

I believe it goes in this order:
pods top 5 inches of stem rest of stem
I don't know about the leaves or flower, I believe they have even less opium content, though. I've seen the approximate percentages posted, but don't know where to get them right away. I'm sure someone will post with a more definitive answer.

In addition to pods and stems, next in order are leaves and roots.
