I never knew there were medical mushrooms. Can someone be so kind as to tell me what kind and what are they for. I guess it makes sense though. Mushrooms are anb amzaing source of nature. I always thought that with shrooms, they open your sub councious so maybe they would be good for someone with ALzhimers or somethign, bring stuff in view, my 2 cents Nathan
hey... there is TONS of info on medicinal mushrooms..you could read for hours and hours and just skim the surface.... most mushies are deep immune enhancers, growing the immune system so the body can fight disease on its own... they are immuno-modulators? or something like that.. where you can't take too much of them.. for example if your cholesteral was high you could take oyster.. while if it was low you could also take oysters, it would balance you out either way.. there is some research going on about alzheimers and lion's mane mushroom.. hericium erincaeus.. it helps rebuild nerve cells and they are hoping it may help those suffering from mental debilitary diseases.. checkout mushworld.com for tons more info.. or christopherhobbs.com also.. good luck in your research

You've just discovered a gold mine of healthful, often tasty mushrooms. It's great that medicine can taste good too! and sometimes (if you live in the right kind of place) you can find them growing wild, which is like an easter egg hunt for adults
