What is dextrose? im pulling my hair out here

please anyone tell me what dextrose is and where i can get it in pure form. it is for substrate nutrients i suppose im guessing its a type of saccharide, sugar, not sure....HELP

if you are looking for substrate nutrients use honey in the jars. it speds colonization and better rhizomprphic growth. dextrose might work as well, never tried it. honey is much easier and its right in my cupboard

check out beer stores... theysell it by the pound REALLY cheap!!

like a buck or two for a big bag of it... it last a long time too...

They sell L-dextrose in chemists here... ?1.75/500g

I thought dextrose was D-glucose. What the hell would L-dextrose be?

It is D-glucose...corn sugar. health food stores carry it also.
