i have been having trouble with a recipe, please help if you can......
Can someone please tell me what exactly is Dextrose (sugar im guessing) and where can i buy some. This would really help me out.

It is corn sugar of course.....i just picked some up at a health food store. I bought thee NOW brand. 2.00 a pound. Mushies love it.

I got my dextrose from a home-brew store.

Only I just want 10 doeses!

I was wondering if I had a spot of red contam in one of my jars if I can just scoop it out? Or will the mycelium overrun it like in a cake or casing?
