Well I'm not gonna lie i know nothing about how to tell if a mushroom is hallucinogenic so here we go I was walking back from skateboarding and on my lawn i seen some mushrooms so i picked em and brought em inside and came to you guys. with pics. -I live in New Brunswick Canada That's on the Atlantic side. -The caps feel like peach fuzz and are a light brown color see in pics. Some of the caps in the middle are darker the go to a lighter brown then on the very out side a mid dark brown. -The gills inside seems to go 1 full one from stem to cap the a half to the middle of the cap and just ends and repeats that order. The are a darker brown then the cap -Each one is about an 2 inches - 1 inch. -The top of the stems when they reach the gills are whitish on the stem. The wider stem shrooms are hollow and are a tan color -I have about six of em and threes more in my yard. -My lawn was made last year we just moved put down soil and planted our own grass it was on the side of a hill growing in patches of 3 and threes a few more still growing out there. -they have no smell but that may just be me Hope i remembered every thing please tell me if the would work. I hope these pictures show up

They look a little like Psathyrellas.. The way that those caps are drying makes me think so. interesting mushroom, not one that I am familiar with. Were they near or under a tree or other plant? Spore print?

Looks like there are some spores on the cap of one of those, like it was growing under another one or something. Appears to be brown.
I guess I'll stick with Psathyrella.

It's neither good or bad really, just pointing out that it looks like a spore deposit. Since spore color is an important part of identification.

Those are not active and shouldn't eaten. Picking random mushrooms is not the best way of finding something active. There are tons of species of mushroom out there and the majority are not going to be of any interest, edibility wise. The chance of randomly finding an active species is slim if you don't know what you are looking for.
Research to find out what active species grow in your area and learn how and when to hunt for them and how to identify them. There is a large volume of information on this site about mushroom hunting and many other sites out there.
