a few months ago I would have said Supernova.org, but they've gone down since.. I think isohunt.com is your best bet now. GL!

Isohunt worked great, thanks.
Can't believe I never thought of that.

They're not technically roms, they're iso's. Or whatever cd-format equilalent.

I spend hours scouring the net for psx iso's but they're few and far between. Best things I ever found were demos and things like that, but I managed to find Castlevania SOTM, only to find out that some jock I lent my modded psx to had sold it and moved away. Bah... I had tons of games like Lunar SSSC and awesome rpg's but they're all gone. :frown:

Check file sharing programs like kazaa lite. You can sometimes find games there. I actually found a nice handful of Dreamcast rips on there, so I was stoked on that!!! The thing I like about that system is that you can burn a multisession disc, the first containing a hacked boot loader (So it essentially thinks it's a legit game, without using a modchip!) and the second session contains the actual game.

Torrents seem to be the filesharing wave of the future, but I'm too lazy to find good ones. Plus I don't spend enough time on the computer to do things like this anymore. Good luck finding some games though dude. I don't condone warez or things like that, but I honestly do have to resort to it as games cost like a minimum of $60 here in Canada, and that's if I'm lucky enough to find them.

a lot of forums people trade iso images of games. barrow a few and start a collection then you can start trading with people. I have some for trade if you like.

Can you use ISO's as a ROM for a psx emulator?

Are you familiar with virtual CD formats and programs? Get something like Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120, they create virtual CD drives on your computer. Then, using the program, you can "mount" the .ISO, .BIN/.CUE, etc. in the virtual drive. Your computer and any program running can read the virtual drive as if it were real.

Example- download Metal Gear Solid for PSX. It's in .ISO format, say MetalGear.iso. Mount the file in D-Tools on drive X. In your PSX emulator (Epsxe, Pcsx, whatever) tell it to run the game from drive X and you're golden.

There's also a fully-working DC emulator called Chanka or Chankast, depending on the version. It works the same way.

i still have hundreds of psx bootlegs somewhere .  I should bust out the psx some time and play it.

I have a lot of dreamcast games too, those where nice cuz you didnt even need a mod chip.
