phosphorus?
    #421409 - 10/10/01 09:54 PM (23 years, 2 months ago)

What is the source of the phosphorus mushrooms use to produce psilocybin, baeocystin and norbaeocystin? Would adding phosphate-rich fertilizer to the medium increase the potency, kill the mycelium or have no impact at all????

not a good idea... it could easily hide contams. (but it sounds cool... HQ's going to try and drop food coloring on agar wedges to see what happens...)

try using some bone-meal in your substrate. make sure to do a control without, so you can tell if it does anything.
