Turned 21 today, now I need to know what beer to buy tonight. I'm not a big drinker, but I enjoy an occasional beer and I'm 21 today so why not :smile:

I'm thinking of some Red Stripe because I know its good, but I'd like to try something different, maybe an oatmeal stout or something unique. Any beer/liquor recommendations?

well, for beers
Fin du Monde is an awesome one, but its from a microbrewery so you may not find it.
Besides that, I like Grolsch and Newcastle, or maybe something like Okocim.

For Liquor.. I personally like bourbon whiskey, but if you just want something tasty then get Kahlua

Must be nice to be able to legally go out and have a drink at a bar or club eh? Iv got about a year and a half to go myself.

There's this new beer I had about a week ago. It's called "BAJA" imported from Guatemala. Its a lager brew good price and a has a halfway decent taste. Personally though Id pick up a couple 12 packs of coronas and a couple limes to slice up. mmmmmm.

I dont really like clubs or bars myself I get really bad anxiety in social situations. Been to one club in my life. Right after I turned 18 me and a couple buddies went to a non-alcohol serving full nude strip joint. We pounded almost half a bottle of 100 proof southern comfort and railed down 2 or 3gs before walking in. Was a good time and I actually was loosened up in there with little anxiety.

Beer is decent, but for my 21st birthday... I got myself a bottle of this;

Patron Silver, about 50$ / bottle. The smoothest tequila you'll ever drink. Goes down like water.

Last night was great, I feel rough but it was great. Ended up sampling many beers and liquors my friends brought over. Smoked mids for the first time in months too. My buddy brought me a pack of samuel smith oatmeal stout, it was probably my favorite beer I've had. The Sierra Nevada Pale Ale was really good too, it had a citrus flavor with a cream after taste. I was definetly pleasantly surprised. Had some Polish Vodka and a few others--Rum and stuff I don't even remember.

Going to fry up some grouper in a bit and chill for the rest of the day.
