Does anyone know anything about the effects of the B+ strain? I have heard such conflicting reports. Some say it is very body. Others say great visuals. And others say the all cubes effects are the same. We will be taking 35 wet grams each. What level trip would this be? Would this be the same as 3.5 dried? level 3.5?

its very cubensis. read in the trip tips forum or erowid.com under mushroom trip reports. diff. strains of cubensis have the same trip affects.

some say that they hagive good visuals, some say a good body, but nobody says they are shiity. Sounds good to me. Eq, now thats a shiity strain.

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

it depends what your growing them on, i grew them on cakes and they were good i grew them on horse shit and fucking fliped so u do the math, cakes or poo !!!!!!what is better that is the ? go poo dude!!!!!i always have visuals and total numbness in my legs lol damm i knew i shouldnt have ate all those,ha ha good luck dude

Just curious how much you ate? I recently ate only 12g. of fresh b+ and definetly tripped harder than I expected. And that was just cakes. The next one will for certain be poo!

I am not particularly experienced...am only on my first casing and second cake set, but all that I have read talks about the substrate you use. Good substrate (poo, alien sub tek, super ss) makes a difference in the quality of the shrooms, as well as allowing plenty of time between adventures...allowing at least a week or more between trips to allow for tolerance to lower again. Also the reading I have done puts the B+ somewhere in the middle.

Why do you say eq is shitty? Ive never grown or eaten it, but Anno recommends eq all of the time.

Imo cube is a cube. Potency, and flush sizes depends all on the substrate/ skill of the grower.

EQ to me is kind of weak. I think it affects everyone differently. PR on the other hand...VISUAL CITY. It could of also been the 7.0g that i ate

My personal belief is that there is so much left up to chance, especially just using multispore inoculation, that your best bet to up potency would be to use the most nutritious growing medium and to have optimal growing conditions. For example about a year and a half ago a couple of my friends grew some B+ on BRF cakes and 15 grams fresh did almost nothing for me. Then this fall I started growing and started out doing WBS casings and about 1.7 grams of dried Koh Samui was about twice as strong. Reading conflicting reports about all of the different strains and their potency I would have to attribute the higher potency of my grow simply to me using a more nutritious substrate as well as having better growing conditions.

i do believe 35 WET grams = 3.5 DRIED grams, but the level of trip (1-5) you are on, depends on many variables, not just weight:triplevel ratio 1:1
