is there something that happens everytime you trip that is the first sign of trippiness, that lets you know it's starting? the first thing i ever notice is how amazing and weird my hands are.

It usually starts wonderful tingley feeling in my stomach that ends up rising up my spine while it slowly creaps through my entire body.
Control is strain. And every strain creates tension, and tension creates necessity, a need to release... Lose Control!

The first thing I notice is a buzzing in the air(sound that I always hear... kind of like a fly but a lot higher pitch, always makes me look around to figure out where it's coming from) and soon after that my nose starts running.

I always feel this tremendous serge of energy course through my shoulders and elbows right before I start.

First, I get a warm-glowy sort of feeling, and I suddenly find that I've got a big fat grin on my face - Then all the lights and surfaces start to shimmer brightly, and you know you're on the way... Funny that you mention about hands - one of my hands always turns this greenish colour, but only the left one which I write with...weird

And for me it's not just laughter... It's horrible dibilitating laughter that makes my stomach hurt and my eyes tear up. Its fun, but for some reason even if i want to stop it won't stop. I don't like it after awhile, but looking back on it, it was a blast. That's how i've found some of my trips to be: Very complex and confusing to the point that I don't like it at all and never think it will end and that i'll stay like that forever... Then later I realize that was one of the best experiences of my life, reflect on it, and want to do it again!

we seem to have quite a bit in common... some of my fav trips (in retrospect) were so confusing that I had no clue what was going on and was convinced I was going to trip forever...

Hehe... The first indicator for any kind of mind-altering substance is a slight warm-fuzziness in differing parts of my head, I can usu. tell what substance it is by where the fuzz is, alcohol is in the forehead, 'cid usu. fuzzes where my head & neck meet, etc.

first i get quite cold, and start yawning. then the second stage is things start to turn into "eyes" which stare right at me -- they won't necessarily be visuals but little things will start "looking" at me. then i feel very "drunk" and tired, stumbling around like fuck, doing random things that mean nothing (like looking at my watch) ... a sort of tired restlessness, heh. uncomfortable feelings then start coming up ... it's weird, by the peak it feels like there was no transition, like it just SUDDENLY hit and there was no "before" the peak.
It must be hard to trip if you anthropomorphize your shrooms. We're all MADD here...

I get this warm feeling in my foot, like I peed on it or something. Then everything, and I mean everything takes on a orangish hue for several minutes. Then I yawn, and it feels like my heads gonna crack open. All in the background, I hear this heavy breathing. And then all my past memories spring into my vision.....

After 10 minutes or so I start to get nervous, and for some strange reason i start to yawn for no particular reason. Possibly some nausea and then patterns or layers will appear "floating" ontop of certain things... that's the start right there.

First you feel tingly, then things look a bit off. Very weird, in a way you can't explain. Then you're like, "uh-oh, what am I in for?"

First, I start talking my ass off...to everyone about everything. I'll go on and on about old trips and throw out infinite Simpsons quotes. Second, start to get this really edgy energy and start to feel nervous. Over time it'll change to that warm mushroom glow or all at once if I smoke a bowl Grover

Usually, I eat some shroomies/acid and then I know I'm gonna trip... but the colors and boldness to everything after about 15-35 minutes and that urge to laugh... oh the urge..

strange feelings in the knees, yawning, fairly extreme levels of physical relaxation...oh and the palms of my hands go sweaty. also once i'm into the trip my muscles all get considerably bigger as though they're full of blood, and my hands and forearms get really fat (they pulsate as well but i think that might just be my mushroom eyes). also i get wonderfully flexible due to my mushroom relaxation. most enjoyable.

the best feeling is when the relaxation sets in ... and the anxiety (and nausea) you had gives way for your old safe "home"

you may not know this but a proven fact is that when you start yawning is when you start your trip and when you finish yawning you are at your peak...watching tv is the best cuz you forget about the shrooms and all of a sudden you start yawning and look up and you are ossified
