Magnetic stir plate & stir bar combo stirs the LC at very high speed, thus adding gas/oxegen to the mix & cutting the myc into very tiny strands, which can be asperated out of the culture with ease.
The cultures were generated from a live tissue isolate from an optimal speciman. In other words cloned into a liquid culture.
Thick healthy LC cultures used an an inoculate, give you VERY rapid colonization. Clones most often exhibit the same traits as the parent.

yes understand the lc. just wasn't sure what you were trying to show. wow that is some amazing cultures you have there. so the pics are the ones you cloned from to make the culture? haven't read up enough on cloning shrooms, but there are others that i have great luck with. the stir plate really does cut the myc up, just a regular bar stir stick?

Clones most often exhibit the same traits as the parent. ____________________________________________________________ So as in taking a clone of a mary (100% genetic traits) mushrooms are not the same in that instance? They are not always 100% a genetic match to the parent?

If overall conditions vary, so will the results. So, no (IMHO), they do not always match 100%. But, the odds are better - that they will.

understood. better to roll with the odds and end up somewhere close to where you want to be than end up on another planet. peace
can you hook me up to a good thread to clone shrooms?

is that mushroom pic 12.4g's or 124g's? if its the latter, that must be a pretty dense mushroom.

Where else is there to start? Unless you have perti's or LC's going.
Pick any crops grandmaster before/as the veil breaks. Use an internal tissue isolate from it - into an LC. If the LC goes well, you will get the genetics of that grandmaster, instead of the whole crowd. At least that is my train of thought.
