On this week's episode...
We talk about My Google, Yahoo's $5 subscription, and predict Apple's response, Xbox vs. PS/3 vs Nintendo. WiMax, 3G networks. Star Wars big weekend. A pessimistic vision of the future. Yoshi makes another big announcement. Kevin makes a really big announcement. Then we all go home. Running time: 1:07:54.
Sorry about the sound quality. We're still on Skype this week - the equipment didn't arrive. Thanks as always to Mark Blasco for our closing theme music and Omnimax for the album art. Next week we'll publish one day later due to the Memorial Day weekend. Watch for your TWiTcast Monday at midnight.

Don't be a damn lamer. Download and listen if you like shows like TheScreensavers or even Call For Help you're going to enjoy listening to this. Someday This Week in Tech will prolly be a show that you can "watch" since you need the extra stimulation or whatever your issue is... Put it on your MP3 player and listen to it as you go to work or something, its great listening to when you don't have anything to do. try something new, you just may like it.
Come on people PLEASE listen to this, it is so the most bestest and is soooooo going to get really really big really really soon.

O do I remember those days, Sounds like you have been a fan since ZDTV, tell me this is so I can't say I have been tuned in since ZDTV days but I have been tuned in for a long time... Good 4 years. There was a point in my life were TechTV and my computer was my entire world for almost 4 years. Almost 2 of those years the "Entire World" part is 100% true. I never left the house or interacted with anyone besides online friends, TechTV and family. I learned so much in those years. In no way were they wasted. I have not gradated high school and I'm making 25$ a hour working plus I repair and build computers when I'm at home. I would have never developed these skills if it was not for TechTv and people like Leo Laporte
If you're interested in what Kate's doing http://www.katebotello.net/
I'm kinda drunk, But remember when TSS was 90 minutes long? Those were the times
I miss TechTV & TSS

Wow. I can barely find a job for $10/hr.
Didn't Kate leave while it was still Ziff-Davis?
I thought Kate leaving was when the network jumped the shark, personally.

everytime i bothered to watch ZTV or screensavers or really any publicly broadcast tech I didn't learn a damn thing. the "news" was weeks old. the tech was watered down or belonged in any decent computer user's repertoire. i dunno, i get pissed at these things because I should be gettiung paid to regurgitate technobabble.
you want to hear some good science talk?
