storing spore syrings

i'm not going to be able to inoculate till the middle of june, can i just store them at room temp in a dark spot. i've got them in my kitchen cabinet right now..

yes, they will be fine.

the fridge is the best place to store them i think

according to what i have been told the will last a couple of years stored in a cold and dark place. some have said just at room temp while some others have said they store them in the frig. with great success after long periods. i imagine either will work for the amount of time you are wanting to store them. i personally have not needed to store them for longer than a couple of weeks, that was in the frig. and no problems with them when i did use them. colonized nicely.

Put them in a zip-lock in your fridge.
