Found these

I found some mushrooms in the back yard here in wisconsin. They were growing in an area that I cut down an ash and an elm last year. They have dark brown gills, the caps are about 2 inches wide and the stem is 4 inches long about 3/8 inches wide at the bottom 1/4 inch at the top. The cap is a little ighter brown than the gills. The whole mushroom is wet, kind of slimy. I don't have a spore print as yet because I'm at work. It however bruised dark, dark purple almost black. And I didn't smell the mushroom. I don't have a picture cuz my camera's batteries are charging and I'm at work. I won't be eating these, I know better. I was sick from shrooms when I was a kid.

NOw back at home and looking them up in my mushroom book I THINK they're "Girdled Paneolus". I'll take few to the local park extension for a better ID.
