    #4206885 - 05/22/05 03:58 PM (12 years, 2 months ago)

All the teks say "indirect lighting" but i was wounder. just what kind of lighting.  what kinds of light bulbs or floros could i use?
I had a colonized bag that was on my window sill, with filtered windows, and muchrooms grew massively untill i noticed mold on variuos spots.  I have refined my methods, and have a large fruting chamber that wouldnt work to well on my window sill.

thanks for your tips. :mushroom2:

direct sunlight may make temps in chamber a little to high try a cool white fluro i actualy use an old compact fluro from a reef tank i had it has a 10,000K light and 420K actinic way overkill but good spectrum for fruiting

10,000K Kelvin rating refers to light color spectrum 10,000K is full spectrum that his high in blue range

Can't go wrong with the flouro bulb...less than 10 bux, broad spectrum and if you get a decent one they are guaranteed for 2 years or so.
