Ok, from what I can figure, the Skull and Bones society is into the occult. Big deal. I used to be into Wicca. I can understand that appeal. There's nothing inherently wrong with it. The fear of the occult is, I believe, rooted in the Judeo-Christian tradition, which I abandoned long ago.
Then there's the whole "secret society" thing. Nothing new there. Our very first president was a freemason, and I consider him to be one of the presidents the US ever had.
Then there's the objection about allegiance. But really, I'm far more concerned about a politician's allegience to a bunch of corporations and special interests that got him elected than to some secret occult society.

I think there's the fear that the leaders of the corporations and special interest groups are part of the same secret organization. But if government had no power to give special preference to certain companies than I would have no problem with a president being a member of a secret society.

Which is a fair position to be had, although I might point out that in a number of cases a bunch of these corporte and banking institutions, and their top officials can also be traced back as being a part of this network's agenda.. They are one in the same.

making decisions that affect all americans and all of the world should definitely not be done in secret. that's just not how you do things. you're supposed to do things out in the open when you are elected by the people.
any society or institution that hints that there is something hidden is a legitimate subject for investigation. but who's gonna have the balls to investigate skull and bones, huh? no one, and they know it.

Check this out dragonz. It's a "60 Minutes" segment about Skull And Bones. I can't remember where I found it. I may have actually downloaded it from one of you guys, actually. Either way, I recommend everyone checking this out. It's interesting regardless of what your opinion of Bush's ellegence to this secret society is.

And it's been debunked about as many times. Is Bush a member of Skull & Bones? Yes he is. Is that anything to worry about? I have yet to see evidence from any reliable sources to suggest it is. It's mostly just alarmism from people who think that if he keeps any secrets that it's proof of a New World Order that's going to enslave us all, and then ironically call the rest of us "sheep" for not believing everything they say.
