Syringe Overfilling

ok, I just god my syringe through the post, but i found that it's a little less than 10cc's full (around 9.5cc), and i have to fill up 12 jars. Now i was thinking to make my life a little easier could i not suck up some boiled (but cooled) mineral water to above the 10cc mark, (to make it arround 12 cc)???

would this be to risky? can i use normal botteled water, or distilled (distilled water will be really hard to get for me). How long shall i boil it for to make sure it's contam free???
All help greatly apreciated!!!

My friend pulls his 10cc syringes as far back as they will go without any extra resistance and they fill about 11.2ccs that way.
Why do you believe that they only go to 9.5 if they say 10?
I don,t see why "normal" bottled water would be a problem but getting distilled shouldn,t be a problem(only50-70 cents at groceriy stores.
I think 20 minutes for syringes. Or are you asking about the water again? My friend boils both for 1/2 an hour in the pressure cooker

So you're missing 1/2 a cc. I wouldn't start screwing around with it or you'll likely ruin the rest!

I think you misunderstood me, i meant i recieved a syringe with the spore solution already in it, except there's only 9.5cc and i have 12 jars, so i was thinking that mabe I should suck in some extra sterile water and fill it to arround 12cc to make it easier to calculate how much spore solution each jar will recieve, I just wanted to know whether this was too risky to do!!

I personally would just go with the flow...
Two innoc. sites per jar with 0.4cc in each site. That's enough.
