Has anyone ever used the HydraPod? If so, was it worth the money?
Im also looking for something simulat to that so I can grow about 50 rice cakes of shrooms at a time. Does anyone have any recomendations?

There has been quite a few posts about the hydra pod.. maybe you should look back a bunch of posts.

I wouldn't waste my money, even if I was rich. The same results can be had using household items and a bit of effort.

I bought myself one a little while back and now I'm trying to save up for another one. I'm wanting to win the contest for one in the vendors forum but it may not last for me to win - or anyone now. I tried to build a fake hydra-pod using some instructions from here but it has'nt worked so far yet. but the hydra-pod is working and working real good. The first thing that I noticed was that the cakes started to form pins right away and they grew into shroomies like overnight - no exageration. The cakes never shrunk and the flushes were the best I ever got from cakes - ever. People may not like it and thay want to give mcman alot of hell over it - but it actually does work good - I know from experience. All you other people who never tried one should not even reply to a post like this since you have no information to offer. except that you dislike mcman. I do own one and I can tell you that it does work and I wish I had a closet filled of them. I never had to add water to mine or change the timer setting over - it just worked for me without me having to do anything at all. Laugh at me if you want but its a "dream come true" for me and I'm going to stick up for it. maybe not mcman -but I will stick up for the hydra-pod. It works damn good. sorry mcman.

I'm not on anyone's side....don't know enough. But, can you post pic's of your cakes? The proof's in the pudding, and pictures of healthy fruiting cakes will surely be "nuf said" and, additionally, offer some nice, free advertising to McMan. No maintenance, fruiting cakes sure sound good to me!

Is Crestone McMan?
I bought a Hydrapod partly based on the info on this forum, and I'd be pretty pissed if McMan is posting bogus responses like this just to plug his product. This exact same post is in another thread (Hydrapod worth $185). But I must also say that the Hydrapod is doing awesome. I had my first flush in 4 days and I'm working on the second one now. It's just the principle of the thing......oh well I'll quit my ranting
