dyslexic dolphins
    #4204593 - 05/21/05 09:47 PM (11 years, 6 months ago)

So I saw one of the funniest sights ever todayyyyyy

I was @ Ventura beach surfing away... when about 4-5 dolphins came up to hang out with us surfers.

They must have been trying to prove they were better swimmers because they were actually trying to surf the same waves that we were on, right next to us.

Then they started putting on a show for us, right in front of us. They started jumping up and down, doing backflips in mid air, just 10-20 feet from us.

I guess they got a little too cocky and perhaps weren't too aware of each other. Two dolphins popped out of the water simultaneously, each trying to do a backflip..

WHAPPP!!

They slammed right into each other and fell back into the water. It was like watching two ballet dancers both going up for a mid-air twirl at the same time, at the end of an almost gold medal earning performance, an then plow right into each other and hit the ice.

I couldn't stop laughing.

That'll show those fuckers that we're the dominant mamals out there.

That sounds pretty awesome. I remember one time I saw the green flash and dolphins at the same time. Man that was an awesome time

Haha I saw him too one time...

Nah but the green flash happens right as the sun is setting...you can see it if you're in the desert or by an ocean. It has something to do with the refraction or diffraction of light.

If I was Chinese, I would ask people to call me the Green Lantern.

Or Data.

Sounds pretty cool.

I've seen phosphorescence in the Chesapeake Bay a few times. That's flashy.

I live in Illinois, actually.

8 months ago I moved out west from PA. I used to visit my uncle who lives on the Chesapeake. I'm not sure what part, though. I can remember being in his boat one time, and we went by what he said was the Chef Boy-ar-dee mansion. I don't know if it really was, though.

Ya ever hear of Ocean City, NJ?

It's a dry town that emphasizes religion.
