What happens with a lack of humidity?? having problems.

Problems have been had since switching over to a "martha" and I can't quite figure it out. Temperature was a little high, but I think it might be lack of humidity.
Before I get into what is wrong, I'd like to know what the symptoms that would be common for under humidity in efforts to trouble shoot the situations.
Thanks in advance

I was using a 18x12 or so bucket with perlite. I got moderate fog on the sides.
I started up the ultrasonic today. What sort of cycle should that be on? 30 on, 1:30 off??

10-15minutes every hour. More then that you will have too much humidity. Exact cycle will depend upon your specific setup.
Too little or too much humidity causes overlay.

i have mine on for 10 minutes every 2 hours just play around with the time. it keeps my rh 86% to 96% with that schedule. I also use a coolmist 24/7 for air exchange.

might not be enough air exchange if you can't get a coolmist maybe you could put a small fan inside your martha to displace more air the bubbler would give you fresh air and the fan would displace more air over your casings and watch your temps get a digital thermometer with a max min memory you can get them for under ten bucks will help keep your temps in line.
