I picked these yesterday. They were growing out of the top of a tree stump. I'm pretty sure they're not active, but just curious as to what they are. They look like they were about drowned in the heavy rains we got yesterday. cap: light brown with dark brown center. 1 1/2 in. diameter was slightly bent downward, now they are turning concave. stem: white. hollow. 2 cm thick gills: black. unatatched to stem. spore print: black. bruising: none.
