good genes?

My pet rock has quart jars of rye that got multispore inoculated 9 days ago. The ones with equadore seem to be kicking some moderate ass and are about 70 % colonized. Both of the thai. strains are sucking though. The best one is maby 10% . All jars got the same 2cc injections and have been kept in the dark at a steady 86 degrees F. I was going to do grain to grain transfers but am hesitant with such slow colonizers. Should I just get different syringes? I got the thais because they were supposed to be fast colonizers. Will all offspring from these slow jars be slow as well. I would appreciate any advise because I am kinda poor and dont want to spend money on spores if it is unecessary.

To give yall a better idea of my situation I should add that my rock is using filter disks for airflow and the humidty is high enough to keep the jars from drying out.
