May have over heated in growning chamber
    #4199491 - 05/20/05 02:52 PM (11 years, 6 months ago)

When it was cooler outside, a heating pad was used to bring ambiant temps up 8-10 degrees in the grow chamber. Temps were 78-80, and that is cool. Now that it has gotten warm outside (and in my house), the temp range is probably 80 and may has gotten as high as 86-87. Miserable flushes are being had, could this be because of the heat?

PF Tek gives wimpy flushes... For better flushes use WBS Rye or Poo

dude, were talking less than 7g's on 9 cakes and they all died for the most part around 2 inches in size. Some smaller and the largest was 6gs, wet.

That's pretty wimpy, but I doubt that slight of an upward fluctuation of temps during fruiting would cause that. Outdoors, you get temp fluctuations much more extreme than that, and get numerous plentiful flushes. I'm still leaning toward lack of moisture, or nutes.
Did you dunk and roll?

Moisture and humidity are ok. BRF is being used, but it worked acceptably 2 months ago when heat was around 75-78. Only variable that seemed to change.

What should a first flush per cake be with BRF?

0 to 11 dry grams...anywhere in that range.

I won't even guess on what the average is...after watching over the years there is too many variables to set an average...IMHO.
