is cottany mycelium growth bad? also, maybe the strain has an effect on the appearance of the myc?

Cottony is not "bad" but it is not what you want, and maybe someone should do a little more reading.

sweet, thats what all my jars looked like the last round. nice pic reference, you should note that this is **NOT** cobweb. So many people ask about whether rhizmorphic growth is cobweb, hell even i did.

Great rhizo growth shows agressiveness in the sub-strain and a nice clean substrate. Usually when growth goes cottony, it's hitting a very moist area or bacteria. That's a good pic for how it should look Tahoe. Nice pants too!!! :cool: :thumbup:
