question - what am i looking at?

After looking at my DB Kit, my compost unfortunately doesn't look like the pictures posted at the Hawk's Eye. The top of my compost isn't one big solid cake mass of mycelium, but rather there are patches of white mixed with patches of light green. I've started the pinning and fruiting stage, but i don't know if my kit has been overtaken by contamination. Any ideas?

Green usually means trichoderma mold. Not good :( Some pictures would be nice to know for sure.

I scooped off the top layer of the "green stuff" and nothing underneath looks bad. Could this save my crop?
