How does the Hawks Eye do it?!?

I had a dream that afoaf got the 15# DB kit from T.H.E. -
In the dream, afoaf wanted to grow shroomies like what is on T.H.E. website - you know, the pics where they show off the amazing results w/ a 10# bag of special poo. It looks like the poo is spread out over a tray and not in the box that comes with the kit. Anyone else notice this - and if so - any ideas on what this setup is?
I have no idea - the caption reads it was grown inside with only 1 10# bag. There is no mention of cakes or casing or anything.
Any help sure would make my dreams go more smoothly, I'm sure.
gracias -

any ideas?
It looks to me like they spread the DB stuff thinly over a tray and put cut-up cakes on it? I dunno - It's a mystery.
Maybe Mr. Hawk will see this thread and answer it, even...

I'm not sure of the set up Hawk has,but it is possible to get great awesome results from the DB compost without any elaborate setups. These are equadors fruiting in 15lbs of DB compost. The container cost $3.49 at a local store. Nothing Fancy. Many of these guys grew to be 10-11.5 inches tall and they are potent!!! The yield was impressive.<img src="https://files.shroomery.org/smileys/wink.gif">

Thanks for replyig Isis!
Your setup looks fantastic! Did you use the rye bags that came with the poop, too? Or are those cakes that you stuck in there with the compost?
Thanks again.

Jammer you can order DB compost from the hawkseye and we carry a similar compost that produce the sam results I have pics of it being used. I will dig through and find them
We are not trying to replace DB compost it is awsome stuff but trying to offer compost that you can"learn with" for 1.25 per pound rather that 4.00 a pound(DB) and then get good at it and give DB compost a try
