Ever read "Angels and Demons"

I'm about 100 pages into it. It's got the same feel as The Davinci Code (same author). Not bad thus far...

Yeah... The DaVinci Code is the sequel to Angels & Demons...
I think it's a much better mystery than DaVinci Code.

I have both of them, but I didn't know if they were worth reading. Are they?

I would say that they are worth reading. They're good suspense novels, and it's written in a way that makes it difficult to stop reading (many short, cliff-hanging chapters). The only problem is, after you read one, the other seems formulaic.

Dan Brown also wrote "Digital Fortress", which is decent, but not as good as the other two.

Oh yeah... the symmetrical brands in Angels & Demons are waaay cooler than the wordplay things in DaVinci Code.

Dan Brown's books are like National Treasure in book form, but the books are definitely better.

I'm starting to notice that... Still a decent read tho, I'm about 200 pages deep.

I just finished the novel, and I found it to be a remarkable read. I definitely recommend it. Any recommendations for a next read? Something similar?
