A few thoughts

Today is a day... Today is today
It is nothing else.
Today is not yesterday, and it is definitely not tomorrow.
(it will be, and it was, but it is not).
What is said is said.
What is left unsaid, is either forgotten, or postponed.
It is up to us to take responsibility.
Moments are fleeting.
We laugh, we cry. We are sad, mad, confused. We are content, ecsctatic, and clear minded.
We are bored and tired in between.
We don't take enoguh time to experience ourselves, and definitely not enough to experience others.
Life is TOO FUCKING BUSY!! (even when we have only one or two obligations).
But life is what it is.
We MUST make mistakes, and more importantly, We MUST learn from them.
We must embrace each other, we must SMILE (from honesty). We must laugh, and express thanks.
Many of us do not do this often enough, Many do not at all.
Many shoulders are shrugged, many eyes are roled, many smiles are faked, many lies are sold. Many people just don't care, many nasty words are spoken, many names are called, many hearts are broken.
But the creation, the expression, the demonstration of positivity, (living from love), (honesty), Is far more powerful, FAR MORE BEAUTIFUL than the bullshit.
However, the bullshit exists (at least in this time and place). It is up to us to find our place(s).
I question you anyone who may be interested/inspired/longing for more/or just plain fed up, to make a discovery, and a decision.
Where do you find importance, emotion, happiness And most importantly... peace? And what are you willing to do to live it?
Much respect, love, good vibes, and peace to all of you

This was really good. Great to have reminders for how we are not in our power or joy when being pulled around by the BS and "business" of life. The strongest reminder is how much power we have to effect every moment we are in when we are fully present in it.
When we take full responsibility with our power in every moment, we live with little regret. The times where we give our power away are the ones we usually regret

Its not the BS thats the problem. Its our attitude toward the BS that usuaully creates the problems. There will always be BS in the world, we cant change that, but we can change and transform our attitude towards it, that is where our power lies, in our attitude.

I just said that we sometimes allow ourselves to get pulled around by what we individually consider BS at the expense of our peace and sanity.
Great point to add that our attitudes are the creators of BS in the first place. It's just a judgment we make. We have power and control over our judgments.
Like I think sending Christmas cards is BS but I still do it. I can choose to change my attitude about it this year or I can choose not to send them this year.
Good catch on the nature of how we create the BS of life for ourselves egghead!

yes...i sometimes get frustrated when i see how many people seem to realise the BS has far too much sway over them...and then they go right on and carry on, not making ANY effort to feel better about everything. Then i remember, that this is just as bad as what they do. You can't force anyone to do anything if they really don't want to, really aren't ready to. As Lennon sang, rather hauntingly piercingly i thought; Let it be...

There are things that we MUST do? Where is the free-will; the choice? MUST you (or the author) attempt to impose your moral code and to-do list on others? I MUST do none of those thngs, though I may choose to if it so pleases the Swam.

death to the system. Who's with me? We'll start by "taking care" of the people who enforce parking laws.

That is a good point.
I think when I started this writing, I was directing it only at myself, and applying my own morals to it.
By the end, I decided to post it, and direct it at anyone.
As I re-read, I realize how aspects of it come off as "preaching", which is generally distasteful. Was not my intent.
