Hi everyone. I'm looking for some advice on cultivating Psilocybes outdoors, as I'm unable to grow them indoors.
Could I just take my spore-print and sprinkle it over the grass in my garden?

Hardly.
You will have to have spawn of some kind(PF cake, colonized grain, even spent cakes or casings) and then follow this http://www.shroomery.org/index/par/23355

Thanks for the replies.
I have spores from the Camobodian strain that I got from the FSRE. I looked about on the Cultivation FAQ and searched the net, all I seem to find is guides that start from cases that were grown indoors. I'm unable to grow indoors as I'm living with my parents at the moment.

Matt, starting your grow indoors is pretty necessary. Wait until you're not living with parents to do this. Outdoor cultivation is usually suited for those with prior knowledge and experiance of indoor tecniques.
But, good luck with whatever you do.

You could buy a mushroom gowing kit and use it as spawn.

So there is no way to grow outdoors directly from spores?
I was thinking that Mushrooms drop thier spores onto the ground below them and the next generation of mushrooms grow from these spores, so why wouldn't my spores grow into Mushrooms if I droped them on the ground?

Your not Mother Nature!~
You are trying to take her place...and she knows where to place things in the ideal places that will work.
Your just taking a wild guess.

actually it does if you think about it.
mushroom spores land in a field by the millions...some land in ideal spots and start colonizing and making a mycelium network...and you get some mushrooms poping up.
you on the other hand....would be more like trying to find the needle in the haystack...when it comes to finding the ideal spot.
go read some outdoor grow teks.

Buy some pre-sterilized MycoBags. Inoculate them, incubate them, then spawn them outdoors. Your best bet for a low-key operation
