Its been raining alot this week and on the first nice day i went out to cut my grass. I found these mushrooms. The stems were white when picked and now their brown at the bottom. They also have vertical lines up the stem. They bruise a brownish gold when i pinch them. The caps are round with a nipple dead center. The cap is light tan color. The gills are are connected to the stem and are a brown.Any help would be great Thank You Sorry if i didnt get a picture loaded but ill put it on my avatar.
also if you could better describe the cap, is it an umbrella-like shape just like a lepiota? or is it smaller and more conical? I can't get a mental picture of how big your mushroom is. Right now I could name over 100 mushrooms that match that description, and i'm sure toxicman could name 1000's.
