Wake up today and found myself revived!!
    #4185558 - 05/17/05 07:17 AM (18 years, 10 months ago)

So I came back from a trip to home 10 days ago and found two of my casing dead. Well, guess what, mycellium is a resistent modafucka:

I didn't even dunk it, just misted it as usually, and it sprung back to life. Goes to show that mother nature knows exactly what to do, leaving us poor cultivators ashamed with our poor knowledge of life cycles

Since I'm tripping again on friday, I'll harvest tomorrow and update you all with weights. I'd say about more than 200 wet grams in total, easily

I'm tripping to my mom's house, not THAT kind of tripping  But maybe I'll do a test, since the last batch seemed hella potent to me but some report almost no effects with 1gr... Maybe 2 grams alone

And thank Diver, coming from you it means a lot for this newb

Those are some meaty mushrooms. What strain is that? I've only cultivated 3 strains, so I don't recognize too many.

They're cambos, but those are not that great, look at my gallery in my sig, there are some great fruits there!

I've only cultivated succesfully cambos yet, but I have a lot of prints from another strains, I'm wondering if I should grow another strain for a change...

BTW, I'm curious, how long have you been growing?

I would pick those fruits that appear to be black aborts, that other big one on the left of your pic looks like it could be catching a cold. You wouldn't want contams during your first flush, their should be more to follow. The casing on the right looks absoulutely perfect. That's how you want it, not a lot of myc on top, just fruits. Congrats.

remember to fan, mist, light and stay clean.

Update!!

I just harvested one of the casings, the one at the right, and it yielded on a I could almost say mediocre flush 175 wet grams! Taking into account it was to the point of dying when I came back I'm very very happy with the results

The second casing seems to be doing almost as great, with a few aborts that look bigger that a lot of mushrooms I've seen in PF cakes

Watch out for that UFO Jimi!!

I hope I can get a few more flushes out of this two casings, that would be SO cool! If not, well, I'm happy with what I got
It's always a blessing to see a mushie grow

PS: There was a cluster amazingly complex, with at least 10 mushrooms inter-connected in a lot of points across each one, but I'm afraid pics won't do it justice so nevermind :frown: What a beautiful being the mushroom is!! And what a beautiful hobby!!

:mushroom2: :mushroom2:

50/50 with a bit of crushed egg shells on rye

Amazing to see that even on rye you can get 20cm+ fruits, I can't imagine what kind of fruits I'd get on H/poo!

went down stairs and had a cup
i looked at the clock and i noticed i was late
grabbed my coat and my bag
made the bus in seconds flat
found my way up stairs and had a smoke
and somebody spoke and i went into a dream!

Update!!!

I just harvested the remaining casing, the one on the left. And surprisingly... 153 wet grams are the yield  Really meaty mushies, no stem is hollow here

Total yield for first flush: 328 wet grams

And this from two almost dead casings, what can I say! I'm very happy. In fact I'm having problems drying that much, I only have one fan, and a little one for that matter... I'll take a look for a cheap fan later today  :crazy2:

Happy mushrooming! And good morning shroomery  :mushroom2:  :mushroom2:

Nothing to say but what a day how's your boy been
Nothing to do it's up to you
I've got nothing to say but it's O.K.
Good morning, good morning...
Going to work don't want to go feeling low down
Heading for home you start to roam then you're in town
Everybody knows there's nothing doing
Everything is closed it's like a ruin
Everyone you see is half asleep.
And you're on your own you're in the street
Good morning, good morning...
After a while you start to smile now you feel cool.

Then you decide to take a walk by the old school.
Nothing has changed it's still the same
I've got nothing to say but it's O.K.
Good morning, good morning...
People running round it's five o'clock.
Everywhere in town is getting dark.
Everyone you see is full of life.
It's time for tea and meet the wife.
Somebody needs to know the time, glad that I'm here.
Watching the skirts you start to flirt now you're in gear.
Go to a show you hope she goes.
I've got nothing to say but it's O.K.
Good morning, good morning...

oh yeah nice i love mushrooms that do the work ! lol oh yeah sorry for he lyrics i think there some how relavent as it is 10:40pm in sydney Australia
