I think it's safe to say a sterile, sealed print will last at least 6 months. It would probably do better to store it in the cold. But I bet a print could last a year or so...though it would need to be rehydrated.
I have heard of people using syringes 2 years old and having success.

I've used a 3year old print without any problems or apparent loss of vigor.

I would say in the case of a properly prepared print, it will last 5yrs.
