I am in dire need of some help and direction.
I have this problem where I am chilling out listening to some kick ass tunes and I will hear a certain line and get a wonderful image in my head or I'll read a line a book or just be letting my mind wander and I will think of some interesting things.
Now I would like to put some of this stuff onto a tshirt so I can show off how cool my mind is, so how would I go about this?

I've never used it but could photoshop be used to make some high quality and detailed transfers?
Batou could you maybe explain some of the virtues of screen print vs the air brush method and then place them in a death match for one final sole survivor.
Much Obliged.

I'm a very poor drawer sheik, my early experiments at fabric paint in grade school nearly left me socially ostricized.

OK screen print VS airbrush:
SCREEN PRINT: your initial set up is going to cost about $50-$80. it depends on your needs. of you are imaginative enough to make a single color print/single level print it will be cheap (relatively) . The more detail the more surfaces/ screens . i does get hard but if you can think in levels of detail (IE> skin tone>facial creases> shading...etc) it will work out. : see speed ball inks
AIRBRUSH:
this can be a little bit harder.it costs more, you have to buy an airbrush($99-$300) and an air supply ($12 for canned air up to $1000+ for constant air) contact the local art supply store about what product to use, if memory serves me correctly it again was speedball but then, again it has been a year since i worked at a supply store. i believe it was speedball that was our supplier, but like i said find the best ink to use in the airbrush for clothing. first one has to make a template, again you have to take into account the depth of detail. first wash is a base coat the subsequent layers are detail. NOTE: THIS TAKE YEARS OF PRACTICE TO ACHIEVE THE LEVELS THAT YOU SEE ON "OCC" AND ANY OTHER AUTOMOTIVE SHOW U SEE!
if i where the beginner i would go about the way of screen printing, it is seen as the easier way. but if you want some sick shit to show go for the learning process and the props to go with it. but it sounds like the way that you would like to go is screen printing.
take your time and think about how you want to lay out your print.
that's the best advise i can give you.
sigh, i wish another supply store would hire me...
i need a job!
