I;ve read enough about it...But i'm a bit worried about a couple of things....

-Destroying to much Pysilocin
-Over\under steeping
-To highly concentrated

I've got about 3 grams total....2Grams dry and 12grams fresh...So it's just a bit under 3 when dry i'm sure...

My Q is...Should I boil for a mintue or two and then steep for an hour? I read that a pint or two would be good for 3 grams...Just curious about what you guys think and recommend...Thankx in adv.

Dry the rest...Grind it up REALLY fine. Boil the tea. Let it cool down for about 5-10 minutes, mix the dust in there. Stir it up really well. Drink up. And prepare to trip.

It's for a friend and we're downing it Very soon, I want my friends to get the experience...They've watched them grow and i'd like them to get a taste of the rewards it offers 8-).

But that's what I normally do..kinda...I usually do this...

Add .5 grams vit. C to 3-5 grams DRY mushies
Mix in O.J and down it quickly...

1 pint of o.j is good for about 5 grams...No taste and no mess :thumbup:

If your objective is to down the mushies with little taste I like to grind them into a fine powder and then dump them into my mouth and then drink some orange juice or other strong tasting liquid. Does well at concealing flavor and is just damn simple.

Nuke a cup of water for 3 minutes with nothing in it. Grind up mushies and throw powder and a tea bag in a different cup. When the waters hot, pour in the cup and wait until its cool enough to drink and drink. Quick, easy, tastes like tea.

I don't think that there is any one definitive way to do it but this is what works for me. I've done this at least 100 times and it works fine. You can use fresh or dry shrooms (dry has less of a mushroom flavor). Bring some water to a boil and add some vitamin C crystals if you have it (lemon juice would work as an alternative). The vitamin C / lemon juice serves two purposes, one it helps prevent oxidation of the substance and two it acidifies the water which helps in the extraction process. Next add your chopped shrooms and steep or simmer for 30 Min. (Personally I simmer). If you steep stirring often would help. Next STRAIN out the mushrooms! No need to eat that crap after you have extracted the goodies! Last use the liquid to make the drink of your choice I.E. coolade, tea, coffee, hot coco and enjoy! I think that tea masks the shroom flavor well but hot chocolate completely hides it.

I would just like to add that recently I was at a concert and scored some shrooms. with no means of preparing a tea, which by the way is a hell of a lot better then eating those suckers raw (love to trip but hate the taste and the stomach cramps suck! Tea rules!) while back at the hotel I broke up the shrooms the best I could. Put them in the coffee maker and brewed up a pot, drank it down, had a awesome show!!!
