Yo all those good people on this website; thanks for answers to my last thread, this site is totally awesome....

...i found some more Psilocybe subaeruginosa's today, quite big, although i left em as we havnt had rain for about 5 days, ive been watering em......and the patch is well hidden. well me hopes...

so its rainning hardout now and my question is: should i get up early before sunrise and go picking....the place is quite public and the council workers spray a whole load of juicy mushrooms, as ive seen hundreds of sad looking subaeruginosa's...so i def wanna beat them to it. and get my a big haul to start drying so i can treat my friends in the future...

according to our weatherwoman here in New Zealand the low is about 10-12 degrees, im realively new to hunting but many have told me rain is good but also frost....

you guys are the knowledge able wise ones, so tell me should i get up at the crack tomorrow and what the likelihood of me finding loads of fresh
subaeruginosa' is predicting to be..

peace out

3. Do not ask if the current weather is "good for shrooms."
These threads are flat out annoying, and will be locked. This information can easily be found with a little bit of research.
As a general rule of thumb, if it has rained within the last 2-3 days, and the temperatures are correct for the type of mushroom you're looking for, then *yes* it is possible that the mushroom you are looking for is growing.
