i actually used to be on this same thought train, that if i had never been to a said country, and had never seen it that i can not know that it exists.
to an extent it is true, i have no idea if the earth has more continents than reresenrted on a map, i have no idea if other countries actually exist, or if europe exists.
i do believe in canada and mexico because i have driven there, but who is to say that i actually drove to canada or mexico and that it isnt a trick being played on me my some allmighty goverment..... for reasons un-known...
in actuality what we know is what we think we know and what we think that we know can never be proven 100% because than it will just be what we think we know to be 100% fact

I once went to a bar in upstate NY that the border ran right through. They had a big fat line painted on the floor. The bar was on one side and the cigarette machine on the other, depending on the tax implications. Of course, it could have been a hoax.

I've sent checks to Canadians who sold things on Ebay. The items came in the mail pretty quick. I communicated with them by email a couple times and none of them discussed any politics whatsoever.

I had my doubts about the existence of Idaho until I saw a letter with a postmark from the post office in Boise. It might be a clever fake, but I trust the postman.
