Recently a Shroomerite ripped me off for $125. Well, after receiving numerous insulting PM's from this user, I decided I want to have him arrested for not delivering the product that I paid for. This item is not a durg or substance.
This user is from the same state as me, which is NY. Anyways, I would have let this go, but adding insult to injury has taken it too far for me to just let go. I want blood.
What legal steps can I take?
The item I purchased was paid for by a western union money order so I know the guys real name and address. Is there some type of fraud protection with that as well>?

user also made numerous other trades in which people were ripped off significantly. This is the real world. This person deserves punishment, even if it does cost me more out of my pocket than the $125.

If you have some sort of proof of payment (the money order receipt, for example) you can take him/her to small claims court. That would be about all I'd know to do, but somebody may have other suggestions. Sorry to hear of your misfortune in dealing with others, BTW. That truly sucks and makes The Shroomery look bad.....

It does. This was a few months back, and I have let it go for this long only because it was only $125. Sure it is a sum of money, but I can make that again quickly. It is the fact that this person has the audacity to accuse me and the others he traded with of wrong doing.
I sent the guy an extra $10 just in case shipping was more than he thought it would be.
I received tracking numbers. Not even enough numbers in the sequence.
Then he sent me a photocopy of the shipping receipt. Never arrived.
Sent a photocopy of a photocopy of the shipping receipt. Never arrived.
Claims I received everything.
Flustered.

Is this an ex-mod you're talking about? It really makes me wonder about the shitty selection of mods the Shroomery has, as I see so many more intelligent and respectable people than some mods who don't want the power. Yet those who are given it are usually those who are most likely to abuse it, like the person I believe you're referring to.

I would have no standing grounds if I got ripped off buying drugs or drug related things.
I wouldn't put myself in legal jeopardy. My home based grow op is strictly on the up and up. Nothing but edibles.

Definitely small claims court. Google what your guidelines are in your area. That would be your best bet.
