i feel the same way dood.,,. and i talk to friends about it and they are like "just dont think about it".... but i dont think thats the way to go. i think we just have to live our lives and live them happy, and that will balance death out... i mean.. if we are happy then all is well

or something like that

Well, we're all getting older. Besides being over 30 ain't so bad, really. Most get quite a bit wiser as we age (there are some exceptions, of course, but I digress). I look back about 15 or so years ago and marvel that I ever survived.....

Being over 30 gives you lots of credibility, too. It's easier to get certain jobs, even with the same qualifications as someone just out of college. A lot of people scoff at me when I start rambling in depth about stuff I know (I can't help it, I read every day like its my job, and am just very knowledgable about certain things in particular, like politics, drugs, cars, electronics, stuff that interests me, but certainly not everything, not even close) but I guess they take it as I think I'm some kind of know-it-all, but really I think its the fact that I am more mature and educated than 90% of the people my age, and they don't want to give me credit for that because nobody likes to boost egos all day long (even though it really wouldn't boost my ego at all since I already know what I know).

I often wonder if only I were in my thirties whether they would shut up and listen rather than give me the "stop feeding me bullshit" attitude, and then later telling me they're sorry when they learn for themselves and find out I'm right.

BTW, chicks actually get better when they're in their late 20's to early 30's. They seem to have their heads together better. (No offence intended towards the younger ladies here....)

absolutely...that's why I've begun to stay away from serious relationships, been in enough to know almost all of them lead down the same road. I just hope theres some good ladies left when I'm 28 or so...I need to move somewhere out in the country I think, where there aren't horny men crawling all over the place. Cities tend to bread a lot more sluts in my experience.

man so here i am 25 and living with the parents again and now i have to watch my brother go through the same BS that i had to (he's 9 yrs younger than me). the fights with dad the crap he has to go through with school and his friends.
i know i went through roughly the same stuff but when i witness him going through it and the decisions that he makes, i cringe, not because they are horrible decisions but because i made some of the same ones and i know how it turns out. yeah i would like to believe that I'm still some young "whipper-snapper" but alas i am not.

We're all as old as the universe.

Getting older sucks though, reminiscing on good times is some depressing shit sometimes.
