American Harvest I believe. Any with a thermostat with a range that goes as low as 95-100 should be fine though.

Wait a sec, can't you just air dry just as affectively? Or just use a toaster oven or just your plain oven for a little bit. What is the advantage of a dehydrator. Isn't a dehydrator just an little over?

Well, air dry isn't supposed to be the most potency friendly way and the oven method seems to be crude and.. hard on the mushrooms? A dehydrator is supposed to do a very good job and nothing is being done in this method to alter the mushrooms other than ridding them of all the water.

Whoever posts next please correct me, I feel that I may be a little off in some of the things that I have said.

Food dehydrator was one of the best investments I've made along with a PC, plastic tops for jars, and the fishtank heater. Oh, and the Misty Mate. :wink:

Dry them to HOT & you kill potency. 95F works for me.

I have read a significant number of times that it is best to remove the thermostat all together and just use the air movement in the dehydrator to dry.....could I get a concensus on this? If 95 degrees F is ok than I am going to buy one. For my first I used fan drying and Damp Rid.
