My Outdoor Bed's Progress?
    #4175394 - 05/14/05 06:32 PM (13 years, 15 days ago)

I have a couple outdoor beds that are both 1-2 weeks old.  I had them covered with a black trash bag with holes poked in it.  Today i checked them and they seem to have just started to colonize the poo substrate nicely.  Also, the grass i planted on them has started to grow.  I decided to remove the trash bag covers, because i wanted to start letting them get more light.  Was that a good idea? Or should i have left the covers on them for another week?  It's been about 70-80 degrees here lately and it rains about 1-2 time a week average.  If not then i water them a little.  Im hoping to see some fruits in about 2 more weeks maybe.

you may want to get some chickenwire.
sprinkle some more woodchips or mulch on top, and tack down the chickenwire over it.
itll prevent your beds stuff flying around and keep it nice n firm in place

water it if it gets dry toooooo long.
peace ohm :mushroom2:
