Please help me save my cased EQ with horse manure.
    #4169936 - 05/13/05 10:01 AM (12 years, 11 months ago)

I have a container going with some EQ spawned horse manure and my substrate was very uneven. At the behest of some of the recommendations on this forum, I did not level the substrate before casing. I got some 37 pins coming through on the high spots, but nothing coming in on the low spots.

I fear that this will be the only areas to pin and I was wondering if I could remove some of the casing mix in the low areas with a sterilized spoon? I want to give the low areas a chance to pin properly.

Will the low areas eventually pin or can I only look forward to pinning on the high areas?

I sure would hate to lose that portion of the casing. I've been fruiting now for 8 days and my pins should be ready for harvest around this time next week.

Thanks for any help on this issue people.

Thanks Roadkill. I was hoping to hear from you. What do you suggest I do after the first flush though? I'll have casing mix all over this thing.
