Real trailers?

I haven't tripped YET, but yesterday afrernoon my friends and I went to dinner with Mary Jane (about 5 or 6 p.m.), and I got home by 10. At 3 am, i was very tired, popped in 3 melatonins and valerian root (trouble falling asleep, sometimes). As I was falling asleep, listening to some music, I took my laser pointer (the room was completely dark) and ran it across the ceiling. A moment after I ran it, I would see a line appar in the shape that I ran it in, then dissapear in a few seconds. This was true of even more complex shapes made with the laser pointers. Is that how trailers are when you trip? They appear a tiny bit after the whole object has moved, and then kind of fade away?

yeah... you can even kinda see it when you're sober if you really look for them (at least I can)... when I am on acid this delay of fading after image gets longer... its not really "trails" in the sense that most ppl think about it (although this is achievable with sedative hyptnotics and benzos sometimes).

heh i've gone beyond all of this little shit, I can now psychosomatically convince myself that I am seeing real patterns and OEV's ... HAH! (read: insane)

tonight I was just looking around and started seeing single tiny colorchanging (though subtle) patterns ... god i love freebies :smile:

or maybe im just too crazy and am just making myself think im seeing this shit ... in any case its fun

It must be hard to trip if you anthropomorphize your shrooms.

We're all MADD here...

Most people report an increase in the prevalence of 'retinal flares' or the strange objects that someone sees after staring at a light or something, then closing their eyes after the use of LSD. In very rare, chronic cases these retinal flares become so bad that every object that a person looks at stays in vision after the person has looked away, as a retinal flare...And these are called tracers...From personal experience, increased retinal flare activity goes away with time...

Hey - that's weird - i went through a faze where i got lotsa tracers for about a month and i was smoking HEAPS...maybe that contributed...Its funny, but they persisted until i dropped acid again, and then they went away...
