Thoughts when triping
    #4168432 - 05/12/05 11:05 PM (11 years, 6 months ago)

Well I tripped last night first time in about 3 months took about 4.5 grams dried. Well lately I have been interested in Asian philosophy like Buddhism. When I hit the peak of my trip it made perfect sense that everything was just ONE no one really exist and I'm not real, Brahman. Now having this experience it hasn't changed my life or thoughts on Buddhism this feeling is now gone. Will I ever keep a feeling after I trip or in other words change my life hopefully for the better? Is 4.5 grams to small for that to happen or has it happened to anyone else? So far my feelings and thoughts while on any sort of drug has changed back once I was done. My main reason for using hallucinogenics is because I have no direction in life, a religion or a core set of beliefs. Thanks

Usually it's not about how much you take that makes you think those thoughts. More wouldn't mean that you'd attain the meaning of life... ya know? A lot of people take a something from each trip. If you concentrate on the same thing for the whole trip, then you think about that. Next time, think about it.. you make take more out of the trip.

Good luck and don't bank on something spiritual happening every time... mushrooms are a wild ride.

Sam

Sacred hallucinogens will not give you knowledge or make you change. They act as catalysts, and because of this, changes you want to make must come from within yourself.

every single time i shroom it's a life changing experience. you see what you have to see, especially at higher doses like that, and it's then up to you to make sense of it. some people will write it off as a 'drug enduced hallucination' and nothing more, some will take it all on board and get carried away with thoughts that are untrue. remember you don't have to make you're mind up solidly about anything - you're learning every day. that's the beaty of it

Mushrooms can only show you doors... but you have to walk through.

I don't know what I just said was relavant, but it sounds cool though. Sort of has that Matrix theme to it.
