ID help please?

I found this mushroom growing from woody debris along the chattahoochee river the otherday. It had a piece of wood directly attached to the base of the mushroom when I picked it, probably some type of oak wood? Anyways, I think its probably a vicid violet cort(Cortinarius iodes) but was thinking there was a remote possibility that it could be Psilocybe/stropharia aeruginosa? Any help would be appreciated! I'm still waiting on the spore print, forgot to print it until today, might not drop anything now that its dried out a bit.

Almost certainly a Cort (MANY purple species in that genus), not Stroph. aeruginosa which is distinctively green rather than purple.
