Seeking B+ help

So, I'm very close to the fruiting stage of B+. To this point it's been a quick colonizer and pretty much no contams.
Do they pin slowly?? Are the fruits of decent size? (I'm using compost and another tray has h-dookie... 3 1/2 or so in deep)
H-doo after 5 or 6 days
HM Compost after around.. ummmm.. 11 days?
By the way.. I plan on NOT casing. I've been told H-doo is FINE without it. Please don't say "oh .. case, it'll be better" I know I know.. I just want a few answers to what I'm doing. Hopefully some will be able to help.
Potency, pretty decent??
I know there are some out there that have grown B+ on dookie. Help me out! Any other tips to success???

I just grew some B+ using 50/50+ casing mix with crumbled BRF cakes. My total yield with 6 crumbled 1/2 pint cakes was 3 ounces dry after the third flush. After that I pretty much got tired of messing with them and tossed them out.
I have tripped, about 15 times, and can tell you that I was not impressed with the potency of the B+ strain. I had some visuals, but was mostly a body high. My experience with this strain is with straight casings only. I did not spawn these the first time. Your experience with potency should be fairly good with horse manure and compost. More so with horse manure.
Pins took 12 days to show up and another week for harvest after that. My largest fruit was 4 1/2 inches on the cap, 5 inches tall, and 1/2 inch in stem diameter.
I am now doing everything with WBS, spawning to horse manure, and casing from there.
Anything else on the B+ experience?

By the way, my substrate depth was only about 1/2 inch. If your substrate depth is deeper, you'll have larger fruits.

I do exactly the setup that you're 'now doing'. WBS==>poo but no case.
I've definately heard that 'roomies grown off of doo or compost would be much more potent. But how much more potent?? I mean compared to the PF.. how much more potent can they get?? I've got no idea.
Substrate depth of the HMC is about 3 in, maybe a wee bit more. The H-doo is a deep roasting pan at about 4in deep.
Got some pics of some B+ anyone???
Thanks for the helpo'

I've heard that potency can triple from straight cakes/casings to horse manure. There is a lot of variables though, so your experience will be your experience. Others may do better or worse.
I've learned some good lessons on this forum, but none more important than this; find what works for you and stick with it. I see a lot of people, myself included, wasting countless hours trying to duplicate people's results.
Once I find my niche, I'm sticking to it. My goal is to grow the most potent shrooms, expending the least amount of energy, and using the least amount of thought.
Find your own way and go for it.

Unfortunately I didn't take any photos after I harvested. I should have, but I was so damn excited to trip. I was literally picking them as they were ready. No waiting for me man. Straight into the dehydrator.
My first flush yielded about 230 grams wet with my largest fruit being 28 grams. The other 2 flushes were larger, but almost every single one was 20-30 grams each.

I got 3 ounces after 3 flushes, not just 1 though. You know what, I used 3 1/2 pint cakes per container, not 2. I did 3 containers for 9 cakes total. Not much more, but still pretty decent flush.
Believe it or not I pretty much didn't care after the first flush, because I was unhappy with the potency. I literally neglected them after the first flush and them son's a bitches just kept growing. I ended up giving some to my sis.
I followed the teks very closely, spent a lot of time fanning, and I guess I did pretty good for my first time. To be honest I was expecting 6-8 ounces on the first grow with 5-6 flushes. I quickly realized that this was a pipe dream.
I've got a huge tube going right now with some spawned PR and I will accept nothing less than 6-8 ounces on those bad boys. I don't give a damn if I have to run that casing until it's a shriveled prune.

and what are you growing off of?? In your experiance, how many grams of your shrooms make a good trip??
I've had Puerto Ricans, Treasure Coasts and PES Amazonians... PR's being my favorite so far.

Four scrawny little six inchers off my first B+ casing (rye, fresh) were enough to paint the world exploding neon and put my feet on backward. Sorry, no dry weights, but the strain does the job.

Sam I have grown BRF and used many other grains. I have fruited cakes and cased with peat, verm etc (no horse poo but many different ways).

I take anywhere from 3.5 - 5g no matter what the strain is. If I am going out to a public place like a concert I may lower the dose to 2.5g. No matter what my B+ treat me well and are still near and dear to my heart. First strain I ever grew.

what do you mean pretty much no contams? it is risky business using cakes that used to be contamed.
