pachanoi disease?
    #4165133 - 05/12/05 03:52 AM (12 years, 7 months ago)

I'm very concerned about what I recently found on my little friend...
Sorry for the horrible picture quality...

Although these fire-orange spots don't cover the entire plant, they do seem to take up a good portion of it. The darker spot appears to have some rotting beneath it. All information will be greatly appreciated.

Offhand, they could be air roots.

You need to move your camera about a foot back so that the subject comes into focus. Your camera's autofocus is using the near-horizontal lines of the wood for its focus. It might be easier to get the subject into focus with a solid background.

they look like tortoise suckers for me...
dab them with alcohol or simply scrape off and discard in trash...
a little tobacco water could help preventing it from coming back, if it doesnt you PM me and i'll tell you a little nuke recipe...

I apologize for the horrible picture quality; however, I was using a friend's digital camera and wasn't familiar with the basic functions. I will take a few shots with my Nikon n-80 and post them soon.
thanks
