Can any 1337 shroomers help me? (n00b inside)

What kind of cows produce the oh so great shrooms? Dairy cows? beef cows? I live in Louisiana and the local cows are fed corn and pellet type things I guess it is a feed for them and inside of their feeders are salt licks.
  Does salt licks mean no  :mushroom2:? Can anyone PLEASE help me out?

Every type of grazing animals can produce "the oh so great shrooms". Any cow has the same chance. There isn't one type that grows it.

cows $ certain animals tend to eat on shrooms & germinate them i think...

I do not think that the cows or other animals eat the shrooms because I don't think any of us would find any because they would of been eaten already. But, does anyone know what the salt licks are for?

The salt licks are for providing the cows with salt.(Kinda obvious...)

Possibly not the shrooms, but definitely the spores that are all over the place where the mushrooms grow.

Contrary to your belief, cows do eat the mushrooms int he ground, especially when they are in the grasses which surround them.

That is one method of spore dispersal into the manure.

I have seen Copelandia shrooms in Hawaii, dangling fromthe mouths of cattle chewing on their cuds with grass and shrooms hangin' fromt heir mouths.
