using terrarium as casing?

Has anyone ever done this? I picked up a bunch of smaller sized rubbermaid bins and was thinking that this may be a good idea to try.....If not I saw that some of you dont use any humidification of any sort (casing provides humidity),,how is that done?

If you put a layer of moist perlite on the bottom of yur terrarium, then a tray on top of that with yur cased mycaelum in it, it provides enough humidity for most situations.
